Well we landed in Sheffield on saturday at the Mulberry tavern, a safe as fuck venue right in the city centre. After loading in like a crew of ninjas due to the bus stops right outside, I parked the van in the cheapest multi storey i could find which was a bit of a trek but gave me chance to have a wonder round Sheffield in the sun. Wicked place, people and trams everywhere.
We met up with Aero the promoter and had a quick chat as Goffchops took all the room up for the Merch. This is our second Punks Against Cancer and we can't think of a better charity than Macmillan to support. We have all lost loved ones due to this bastard disease and SUCKERPUNCH were made up to be on this line up again.
We went on first, and after a sound check the venue was relatively quiet. Which due to the sunshine, wasn't that surprising. About two minutes before Clobberin Time, loads of Sheffield's finest punx came crashing through the door and we had a right blast. The band smashed through the set and we saw a few faces we ain't seen for a while. MPRV filmed us as well. Nice one!
All the bands absolutely killed the place to death and the heat was border line stupid. It literally smacked you in the face as you walked into the venue. It was ace to hang out with COMPLETE DYSFUNCTION, CRIMINAL MINDS, DRONGOS FOR EUROPE, DRAGSTER and headliners INFA-RIOT. I even had a good chat to their singer outside. Top geezer!
. I can't thank Aero and the PAC crew enough for having us back again and for holding onto the new merch we left at the venue because we are complete divs.
