Well we've been holed up for a couple of weeks since the tour. Had a week off to recharge and think about the future. As usual we can't sit still for very long as its ants in pants time and while we are writing and perfecting the songs for the album, the gig hunt continues. Its getting harder out there you know.... So many gigs, so many bands.... so many promoters to contact. Some are ace and get back to you, others... well they read your messages and don;t even bother to tell you to fuck off. I get that they're busy, but it won't hurt to say so. Instead, they run the scene booking the same bands over and over again and are in danger of turning it into a novelty act. What are they gonna do when the bands they book for big money pack it in? Than fuck for the people who are willing to take a chance on newer bands rather than established one hit wonders from 30 years ago getting paid big dollas to play a tiny venue on a wednesday night. Its crazy. Everything changes, evolves and gets better, or it dies. You can say the same about anything really.
But lets turn that frown upside down eh? The shows are starting to roll in for next year, slowly but surely. We are planning another European jaunt with our brothers ANGRY ITCH. We are going to hook up with our new mates BOMBFORS in Sweden and hopefully get over to eastern Europe as well. We have some fecking blinding gigs booked for 2020 and the writing has kicked in at a frantic pace. We just have to keep working hard, keep it fun and continue to have the PunchBag Crew behind us and we can do anything we put our tiny befuddled minds to innit?
Anyway, we have two gigs left in 2019, so keep an eye on the page and social media for updates. Its what we do best.
